First of all, thanks to Allah SWT  because of the help of Allah, We finished creating the clipping entitled “ THE NEGATIVE EFFECTS OF THE INTERNET” right in the calculated time.

The purpose in the creating this clipping is to fulfill the assignment that given by Mrs. Munjiyah as teacher in English subject.

In creating this clipping, we trully get lots challenges and obstructions but with help of many individuals,those,obstruction could passed.We Also relized  there are still many mistakes in process of creating this clipping

THE NEGATIVE EFFECTS OF THE INTERNET

A.             Article 1

The Internet has a side of benefits and a useless side. In fact, the impact is very bad. Really like a double-edged sword. Indeed, the internet was created as a medium to disseminate any form of data that is positive. However, the internet has now switched functions as a medium for the dissemination of harmful things.

The following are some of the negative effects of internet use.

1. Pornography

It is not wrong if the internet is associated with pornographic things, whether in the form of pictures, videos, or writing. because Internet media provides an opportunity for someone to view, download, and trade pornography. Chat rooms that contain fantasy as well as role playing for adults are increasingly widespread.

2. Addiction of Maya Relations

This is an impact that involves a person excessively for cyber relationships. because Relationship via the internet usually starts from chat. Through chat, someone will feel the match so decided to pour excessive attention on his chat partner. In fact, one can forget the real world because of chat addiction.

3. Gambling

Internet gambling is known as net gaming. Net gaming is a similar condition to gambling addiction. For example, playing games, shopping. In fact, conduct buying and selling of shares through the Internet that interfere with the work and resulted in losses that lead people concerned on the stranglehold of debt.

4. Excess Information

The Internet is a medium that provides a full range of information. Whatever we want, is on the internet. This is what makes a person willing to spend long hours to know the various information available. Such information is collected and organized in such a way as to "exceed" the capacity of the brain's capacity.

5. Computer Addiction

A study found the fact that some organizations were negatively impacted by addiction to offline games, such as the famous Tetris and Solitaire in the 1980s, which had been installed on the device of each computer.

6. Cruelty and Severity

The complexity of information on the internet makes some sites display all forms of cruelty and sadism to sell the site in question. Things are taboo is one way that can increase the prestige of the site.

7. Fraud

Not only in the internet media, fraud is a negative impact that lurks in every way. The Internet became one of the target of the fraudsters to launch the action. The best thing to do is to ignore certain information that is considered to have an element of fraud.

8. Kidnapping

Many cases of parents reporting that their child was kidnapped by someone known through social networking. Yes. The Internet is indeed capable of bringing unexpected losses. To anticipate this, try not to trust someone who is known through cyberspace. Moreover, if invited to meet.

These are some of the most complex negative impacts of the Internet. Various attempts have been made to avoid the problem, but it does not show maximum results. Therefore, do not be too excessive put yourself in the medium of information called this internet.

B.     Article 2

Negative Impact of Social Networking in the eyes of Islam

In addition to the positive impacts of social networking, today's social networks can also bring negative impacts to its users. In fact, many cases, especially in Indonesia, have been many unscrupulous cases, totally contrary to the teachings of Islam that occurred because through this social networking media. this happens done by irresponsible elements who take advantage of social networking sites, the most widely used site is Facebook. Here the negative impact of the use of social networking in the eyes of Islam.

1.      Forgotten time, wasteful, and addictive

With various facilities, and facilities that have been given through social networking of course it can also pamper its users. One impact that can be generated by using social networking is that it can make users forget time, and certainly cause addiction. Using social networking is free, but as we know to use social jejarinng the user must use the internet, and to use the internet the end users will spend money to buy the internet package. With facilities provided by social networking users will experience addiction in its use, because the facilities in accordance with the needs of today's society such as exchanging information, video calls, chat, share photos and others. And it is fun, causing addiction and the user will also forget the time. And when the addiction happens then the user will be wasteful.

This is very contrary to the teachings of Islam. Because Allah SWT strongly forbids His people to forget about time and extravagance. Here are some of the verses that the Qur'an prohibits extravagantly, are found in Surah al-isra verse 26, which means "And give his right to his close relatives, also to the poor and to those who travel; and do not waste your wealth extravagantly "

And also there is also in the letter of al-isra verse 27 which means "Those who are a wasteful are the brothers of demons and the devil is very disobedient to his Lord". There is also in verse 29, which means "And do not let your hand fall on your neck (too stingy) and do not give it too much (too extravagant), therefore you become disgraceful and sorry"

2.      Unambiguous and Deceptive Information Truth

As has been discussed earlier, that by using social networking the user can easily and freely meninformasikan all things through social networking such as through facebook. Some information that has been shared can not be guaranteed the truth. That the user account pu can not be known for truth. By sharing this reason there have been many unscrupulous cases that have occurred due to social networking. One of the most common sites of negative cases occurs via the facebook site. The most serious cases of fraud, sexual harassment and so on. This is because the information that has been passed on to some users is questionable. And this is exploited by some irresponsible person to do things that are not immoral, very contrary to the teachings of Islam. Such as fraud and most severely sexual harassment and sexual harassment is caused due to some unscrupulous persons who commit fraud / lies and invite to meet with other users, and this harassment occurred. "Those who invent falsehood are those who do not believe (believe) the signs of Allah's power. They are liars ". (An-Nahl: 105)

C.     Article 3

Negative effects of internet in politics

The first negative internet effect comes politically. The internet is apparently capable of influencing one's life especially in terms of politics and social. Why is that?

Because the Internet is a vast field of information, so in it not a few who teach consumptive culture and values that come from the West.

Influences about one's political views are also often misunderstood and ultimately create divisions among others.

D.    Article 4

Negative effects of the Internet in Cultural Aspects. The Internet has much to teach the values and lifestyle of Western countries as something more superior than others.

Because Western life is depicted with unlimited freedom without any explanation from the perspective.

Due to the influence of the internet, many people ultimately do not appreciate the culture and values of their own lives and assume that life outside themselves is always better.

  the internet has the potential to influence people both from a moral perspective and ethical values.

E.     Article 5

Because the internet has entered into every aspect of life, for example in the economic, political, social, and other areas, therefore security threats can also arise at any time.

We may not have realized if the Internet network is very vulnerable to hacker attacks.

The hackers are able to steal valuable information milling about on the internet, it is also able to infiltrate viruses to damage data or computer hardware.

because of the ease of accessing the internet, an information is more easily leaked and in addition any existing information can be manipulated into misleading news.

F.      Article 6

Internat serves as an information field, so not a few people who access it. It is used by businessmen to flood the internet with merchandise.

We often see a variety of ads that are excessive in terms of promotion and not a few buyers who feel cheated by the offer.

Due to the large amount of information available, it makes it difficult for users to distinguish between real and fake ones. The result is the user will have trouble making the right decision.

G.    Article 7

surfing the internet has become a necessity for some people. They prefer to alienate themselves from real life and choose to interact through cyberspace.

Whereas excessive use of the internet can cause obesity for teenage children.

In addition, due to internet addiction, children and adolescents spend much of their time in front of the computer. As a result, they will ignore physical activity and it will interfere with the development and condition of their bodies.

H.    Article 8

Numerous studies over the years have pointed out that internet has had a negative effect on children. It is important therefore, that children are guided on using the internet effectively.

Internet has proved to be one of the most innovative inventions for us. It has made its presence felt in every sphere of our life, be it economy, society, health care, spirituality, etc. Prominent among its benefits is the impact it has had on the education sector. Students can now gain access to innumerable research papers, apart from getting latest updates in the field of science and technology. But as they say, "With great power comes great responsibility", Internet has created new challenges for the society and most threatening among these is the impact it has had on children. Internet addiction has been recognized as a disorder in many countries, and rehabilitation centers have been created to help people to get over it.

The sad part of this whole phenomenon is that a large proportion of Internet addicts are youngsters, who are extremely vulnerable to its ill-effects. There are several advantages and disadvantages of Internet but in this article, we will focus on its negative effects.

1.  Internet Addiction Disorder

Although studies on this disorder are in preliminary stages, it has been established that children who spend most of their time on the Internet, show a peculiar kind of behavior which is marked by an urge to be on the Internet all the time, so much that the child may shun all activities and become immersed in the virtual world. Surveys conducted over the years have found that most people who suffer from Internet addiction disorder are young adults, who easily fall into the lure of exploring everything that is available on the Internet. In America alone, it has been estimated that around 10-15 million people are suffering from Internet addiction disorder, and this is increasing at the rate of 25% every year.

2.  Reduced Physical Activity

There are a host of games that are available on the Internet and this has made most children to shun all outdoor activity. because In the absence of physical activity, children can easily fall prey to a lot of lifestyle related diseases such as obesity, apart from failing to develop interpersonal skills. Apart from these factors, sitting continuously in front of a computer screen can seriously damage our eyes, and put a strain on our neck and shoulders. Children are in their developing years and these factors can create life-long problems for them.

3.  Easy Access to Pornography

This is one of the greatest threats Internet poses to children. Internet has provided an easy medium to children to gain access to pornography and this can cause them to either become sexually-deviant or sexually-addictive. This phenomenon has also caused another problem, and that is the increase in prevalence of sexually transmitted diseases (STD) in children. According to reports, one out of every four teenagers gets infected with a STD every year. The adult content that is present on the Internet promotes irresponsible sex and creates false notions in the minds of students.
